# End of Disease

It is possible that we may be able to eliminate all infectious diseases in the coming decades, thanks to the significant amount of funding and research that is currently being devoted to this area. The development of new technologies such as gene editing and personalized medicine have given scientists and medical researchers new tools to tackle diseases at a molecular level. Additionally, the increasing globalization of research and the sharing of knowledge and resources among scientists around the world has also helped to accelerate progress in this area.
